This website or mobile application is operated by the Ventura County Federation of College Teachers (“AFT Local 1828,” “we” or “us”). What personal information do we collect?

Active Collection: Personal information may be collected in several ways when you visit our Sites. Passive Collection: When you use the Sites, some information is collected automatically, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, operating system, browser type, referring website address, and activity on our Sites. If you access the Sites from a mobile device, we also may collect information about the type of mobile device you use, your device’s unique ID, the type of mobile Internet browsers you use, and the location of your device. We treat this information as personal if we combine it with or link it to any of the above-mentioned identifying information. Otherwise, it is used in the aggregate only. What personal information do we share with third parties?

A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user’s hard drive containing information about the user. The AFT Local 1828 website uses a cookie to measure aggregate statistics, including the number of monthly visitors, repeat visitors, most popular web pages, and other information. The AFT Local 1828 will use cookies to facilitate your online visit by maintaining data you provide for online activism activities so you will not need to resubmit certain information.
